CollegeTracks Announces New CEO – Mecha Inman

Silver Spring, MD - CollegeTracks announces the selection of Mecha Inman as its new Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Inman will join the staff at the beginning of 2021.
Ms. Inman comes to CollegeTracks from The SEED School of Washington, D.C. (SEED), the Nation’s first public charter, college-preparatory boarding school, where she was Head of School. She brings a passion for and a focus on providing students equitable access to quality educational opportunities to her new role at CollegeTracks.

Prior to her role at SEED, Ms. Inman served in various positions in the education field. In her career, she has served in community engagement and admissions roles throughout the region and is described by colleagues as a passionate, committed and collaborative leader.
“We are excited to welcome our new CEO,” Kevin Beverly, chair of the CollegeTracks’ board of directors said. “Mecha has a passion for the scholars that we serve and is a strong advocate as well. She is an inclusive and collaborative leader with an excellent background in supporting the whole student.” He adds, “She has great experience working with various stakeholder groups including elected officials, school boards, foundation boards, superintendents, parents, staff, and scholars. These attributes make her an excellent fit for our organization.”
Strategic and data-driven to achieve strong outcomes, Ms. Inman holds a BA from Williams College, a Master’s in Education from Regent University, and an Executive Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business. She is a board member of Right Fit Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides formal and business attire for community members who are in need.
