November 17, 2021, at The Community Foundation in Montgomery County's Celebration of Giving, CollegeTracks Board President Kevin Beverly was honored as Montgomery County's 2021 Philanthropist of the Year! The entire CollegeTracks community wants to congratulate and thank Kevin for everything he has done for Montgomery County. We are so proud to have Kevin as a part of our community, a leader in our work, and an ally in our fight to build equity and remove barriers in education.

At the event, Kevin shared words of wisdom that his mother said to him about our responsibility to care for others in our community, which was: "If you’ve got a little bit more, then it ought to go to someone else.”

Kevin is a shining example of how to share your "little bit more" in every way. He gives generously, challenges others to give, volunteers, leads, serves on multiple Boards, and tirelessly works towards a better and brighter future for people across our region. He is endlessly generous with his time, talent, and treasure - not out of charity, but because it is just who he is.

All of us at CollegeTracks find incredible motivation in his conviction that we can make a difference, that we can tackle and solve big problems, and that we should think and act big. No one loves Montgomery County more than Kevin, and he makes that clear to all of us every day. And no one is a better model for philanthropy at its best.

To those of you who know Kevin, feel free to send Kevin a message of congratulations through us by emailing us at [email protected]. To those of you who don't know Kevin, take a moment to learn more here.

Kevin - thank you for everything you have done for CollegeTracks, our students, and our County - we will be forever grateful.

Yours in Service,

Mecha Inman, CEO
