CollegeTracks CEO Transition
CollegeTracks CEO Transition

Dear CollegeTracks Community,
CollegeTracks has pivoted effectively to the pandemic’s virtual environment. The board, leadership team and talented staff are working together to support the students we serve and to maintain our important partnerships in the community.
We are now also managing an unexpected challenge. Our CEO Linda Youngentob had a health scare 2 weeks ago. After careful consideration and consultation with her doctors, she is regrettably resigning as the CEO of CollegeTracks. She needs to focus her energy on staying healthy and caring for her aging parents as well. We (the board leadership and staff/management) understand and support her need to step down as CEO. This was a very hard decision for her. Linda remains committed to and confident about CollegeTracks’ continued success.
Our board and senior management are already moving ahead to sustain all aspects of CollegeTracks’ operations. We are extremely fortunate to have engaged CollegeTracks’ cofounder and former Executive Director Nancy Leopold to serve as Interim CEO. Nancy has been working with Linda throughout the summer supporting strategic and programmatic initiatives, and remains familiar with CollegeTracks’ processes and talented management team. She is happy to step in on an interim basis and is already working with management and the board. At the same time, our board is launching a search for a new CEO. Given our organization’s strong reputation and solid footing, we have confidence in our prospects.
We are so appreciative of Linda’s invaluable leadership, commitment, and strategic vision. Despite this unfortunate development, CollegeTracks is much stronger and better equipped to navigate into the future than ever before. In the past year, we increased our investment in staff and technology, amplified our visibility in the community, pivoted to a virtual model, and added three strong members to our board. Last year was a record-breaking year for CollegeTracks on all levels, even as the organization stepped up to meet unprecedented demands.
Thank you so much for your continued support of our organization and its important work. Please direct any questions you may have to Nancy Leopold at nleop[email protected] or to me [email protected].
Thank you,
Kevin Beverly
