Jean Schlesinger

CollegeTracks is delighted to have Jean Schlesinger join its Board of Directors in 2023. She has led and been actively engaged in social justice work for decades. Ms. Schlesinger was a partner at Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where she was a litigator and Vice Chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee. She was also Director for Initiatives for the Association of Corporate Counsel National Capital Region, where she helped to launch the ACCNR Leadership Academy which prepares in-house counsel to lead from any chair within the organization. There, she fostered pro bono and community service opportunities for members. As a Northwestern University law student, Ms. Schlesinger represented students and families seeking educational services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. 

Ms. Schlesinger believes every student should understand and have the opportunity to reach their potential. She is excited to serve first-generation-to-college students and support College Trackss’ mission to build equity and remove barriers to post-secondary education.
