CollegeTracks' scholars, staff, and Board of Directors were thrilled to receive a proclamation from the Montgomery County Council celebrating our 20 years of service to Montgomery County. We were especially grateful for the words of Council President Evan Glass as he awarded the proclamation, who said:

CollegeTracks has helped thousands of young people navigate the complex web of college applications, college acceptance and economic success thereafter. I am so proud of everything that they do in their satellite offices throughout Montgomery County Public Schools and the partnership that exists there because this is a game changer.

In these 20 years, we have served over 9,000 incredible MCPS scholars, and 99% have been accepted into postsecondary education.

CollegeTracks Board Member and Alumna Jeffanie Rantung-Kramar also addressed the Council, and challenged us all to:

...imagine what Montgomery County would look like if we truly invested in all the young people. Imagine if we made sure that all students got the opportunity to be who they wanted. Imagine what would happen if we recognize the value, strength, and unique potential of ALL students, if we cleared the barriers in front of them and let them thrive.

We are truly grateful for the Council's kind words and support as we prepare for our 21st year of programming, in which we will pass 10,000 scholars served since our founding in 2003. Thank you to the Montgomery County Council, Council President Evan Glass, and to everyone who has made these 20 years of success possible!
